Nursing Home In West Hartford Fined By State: Report
The state Department of Public Health recently fined eight nursing homes for various lapses of care.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The Reservoir in West Hartford was one of eight nursing homes recently fined by the state Department of Public Health for various lapses of care, according to the Connecticut Health I-Team.
Cara Rosner of the Connecticut Health I-Team reports The Reservoir was fined $2,360 after a resident’s spouse didn’t receive proper written notice that the resident was being transferred to another facility. The transfer came a week after the resident went missing from the healthcare facility and was found by West Hartford Police. On July 5, the patient was located by K-9 Jett in a wooded area near the facility. The patient had fallen and sustained minor injuries, police said at the time.
