NWC Counselor Betsy Quinn Awarded Fr. Frascadore Teaching Award

For twenty-six years Betsy has been a fierce advocate for the care of the whole person, a core value of Northwest Catholic's mission.

The Fr. Henry Frascadore Teaching Award is given every other year to a member of the Northwest Catholic community who exemplifies the extraordinary vision established by Fr. Frascadore during his legendary tenure at the school. It was under Fr. Frascadore that so much of Northwest Catholic’s tenacious pursuit of excellence was established. This year Mrs. Betsy Quinn is the recipient of this prestigious award.

Betsy Quinn’s loyal service as an English teacher, school counselor, AP coordinator, mentor, and leader are known to all at Northwest Catholic. For twenty-six years Betsy has been a fierce advocate for the care of the whole person, a core value of Northwest Catholic’s mission. When announcing this year’s recipient, President & Head of School Christian Cashman said, “I know I speak for our community when I say it is a privilege to serve with Betsy. I thank her for her dedication, her wisdom, and her years of service to the Northwest Catholic family.”

Quinn was honored at Northwest Catholic Founder’s Circle Dinner on Friday, November 2, 2018.
