American School for Deaf in West Hartford opens new Deaf Kitchen (wtnh.com) — A new Deaf Kitchen food pantry has opened at the American School for the Deaf's West Hartford campus, offering free, nutritious groceries twice a week. Designed specifically for deaf and hard-of-hearing residents, the pantry focuses on accessible communication so people can ask questions and get information with dignity and independence, helping bridge barriers to vital community resources in Greater Hartford.
