The Connecticut Medical Examining Board called him a "clear and immediate danger" while a full disciplinary case proceeds, leaving local patients to seek care elsewhere as the board reviews extensive allegations.

2. Noah Webster's Statue Looking Much Better After Much-Needed Cleaning: UPDATE (patch.com) — If you noticed Noah Webster's statue looking oddly reddish in West Hartford, town officials say it was just a cleaning treatment at Webster Walk, and the monument is already looking brighter. Crews used a specialized solution to remove years of biological buildup, and the statue should now appear cleaner and more vibrant for passersby.

3. For National Food Bank Day, consider donating to a Greater Hartford food pantry (courant.com) — You can directly help West Hartford neighbors facing food insecurity by dropping off nonperishable donations at the West Hartford Food Pantry in Town Hall, 50 South Main St., on weekdays during business hours. The piece also lists several other Greater Hartford pantries, but emphasizes how local contributions here fill the gap for residents who earn too much for SNAP yet still struggle to eat.
