Record Breaking Donations at Northwest Catholic Fundraiser

Northwest Catholic community pulled together to give more than a record $100,000 at the school's fundraiser Celebrate Northwest!

On Saturday, February 23, 2019, the Northwest Catholic High School community pulled together to give more than a record $100,000 at the school’s fundraiser Celebrate Northwest! This important community event, named Saturday Night Live! for the past 33 years was recast this year with changes to the program, including a new name, and was held at the West Hartford school. Close to 350 guests attended the celebration, which included a silent and live auction, food stations, wine bar, and dessert café.

NWC Director of Constituent Relations Jane Leary and the Celebrate Northwest! committee organized the event. The evening radiated enthusiasm, generosity, and the love and affection that define the Northwest Catholic community.

The NWC administration, faculty, staff, and school board thank everyone who donated their time, creativity, and resources. They are grateful to all who attended and all who could not but were there in spirit. President & Head of School Christian Cashman sent a community-wide letter on Monday showing his gratitude to Northwest Catholic’s loyal supporters and advocates. Cashman wrote, “Your generosity makes a difference today in the life of a deserving and promising Northwest Catholic student. Could there be a greater gift than that?”
