Road Closure Announced In West Hartford
Police announce traffic information for the Annual Concorso Ferrari & Friends show. Read details on the event here.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford Police have announced a road closure that will be in effect for the Annual Concorso Ferrari & Friends show, which will take place on LaSalle Road on Sunday, June 24. The event is rain or shine.
As a result of the event, LaSalle Road will be closed between Ellsworth Road and Farmington Avenue: from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be access to the municipal parking lot via the entrance near 975 Farmington Avenue, according to police. Read details on the event, via the town website, below:
The Ferrari and Friends Concorso benefits Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Make a Wish. The event, presented by the Ferrari Club of America/New England Region, will offer attendees the opportunity to check out more than 150 of the finest high-powered Italian sports cars, including Ferraris, Maseratis, Lamborghinis, Fiats and Alfa Romeos.

Centered on children and enhancing their lives, the Concorso will kick off at 10 a.m. from Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Specialty Care Center, 399 Farmington Avenue, Farmington with the Parade of Children. Patients from Connecticut Children’s will be escorted in featured automobiles as the procession travels through the streets of West Hartford to car show site. Upon arrival, children will be greeted by a representative of the Italian government, who will name them honorary citizens of Italy.
The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is open to the public and there is no admission charge. For more details, visit here.
