Sheehan Hilborn Breen Food Drive to Benefit West Hartford Pantry

Sheehan Hilborn Breen will be continue the Food Drive ongoing to benefit the West Hartford Food Pantry. Any non-perishable food or personal care item will be collected in a box just inside their back door at 1084 New Britain Avenue in West Hartford from 9 am-4 pm Monday - Friday.

"Our understanding is that the West Hartford Food Pantry is very low and although it may be an uncommon setting for a food drive, we want to help out in every way that we can," said Charlie Hilborn owner of the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home. "There was tremendous support and everyone said this is a convenient drop off site so based on the need in our community, we will continue to be a designated drop-off site indefinitely. Everybody can play a role to eliminate hunger in our town. If you are in the area, please consider dropping off a few items. Any donation will be greatly appreciated."

Food products most needed are: canned fruit; canned meats; pasta & sauce; macaroni and cheese; rice; peanut butter; cold cereal; soups; and personal care products.
