Snowflakes May Usher in the New Year in Connecticut
Don't worry you won't need a shovel. Monday's forecast includes some ice possibly and then finally there is some good news too.

When was the last time there were snowflakes in the air as the ball dropped on a New Year in Connecticut? Well we may see snowflakes just before midnight tonight in Connecticut and the good news is that it’s not expected to accumulate in any way.
A larger concern is the forecast for Monday, which is hopefully a day off from work for everyone. Already, a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” has been issued for Hartford and Tolland counties. The National Weather Service says a “Freezing Rain Advisory” for light icing may be needed for Hartford and Tolland counties late Monday into early Tuesday.
Even southern Connecticut may see a period of ice on Monday morning before a changeover to rain.
