Sound of New England places 2nd at Sweet Adelines competition!
Sound of New England Chorus competes and places in regional competition
The Sound of New England Chorus recently placed 2nd in the small chorus division, and 6th overall, at the Sweet Adelines North Atlantic regional competition in Springfield, MA on Saturday, April 14th. Nineteen choruses from CT, MA, NH, upstate NY, and Quebec competed in all, and the competition was fierce. The Sound of New England Chorus was extremely pleased with their results, especially in their overall score which increased several points from last year’s competition. This chorus has great things in store for their future!
Sound of New England Chorus is a non-profit, award-winning Sweet Adelines chorus that fosters a cappella barbershop harmony through education, competition and performance. This dynamic and entertaining female chorus is based in West Hartford, CT and rehearses at 7pm every Tuesday evening at Saint Mary Home.
