Tax Help Available For Covid-Impacted Homeowners: West Hartford
The Town of West Hartford is notifying residents of the MyHomeCT program, which can provide property tax aid for those impacted by Covid.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford officials are hoping homeowners impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic benefit from a state program that could provide financial help with their taxes.
Town officials Thursday issued a bulletin about the MyHomeCT program, which offers eligible homeowners with a COVID-related financial hardship a one-time payment, up to 12 months of forward payments or a combination of both for real estate property taxes.
The allocation will be up to $50,000 per eligible Connecticut resident assisting with property taxes starting with the Oct. 1, 2018 grand list.
