Three-Vehicle Wreck Causes Mess In West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A three-vehicle crash in West Hartford has caused major traffic headaches for motorists on Interstate 84 eastbound.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the accident happened between exits 41 and 43 at about 4:10 p.m. Thursday.

As a result, the left and center lanes are closed and traffic is backing up, according to the DOT.

As of 4:12 p.m., state officials said it was "unknown" when the scene would be cleared.
