Three-vehicle Wreck On I-84 In West Hartford Causes Mess

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Interstate 84 is a traffic mess as a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 84 westbound has traffic backed up as nasty thunderstorms roll through the area.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the accident happened between exits 44 and 43 at about 3:39 p.m.

This has resulted in the left and center lanes being closed to traffic.

DOT officials, as of 3:51 p.m., still did not have an estimate as to when the scene will be cleared.
