U.S. News and World Report Ranks Conard, Hall Among CT's Best Public High Schools
Both of West Hartford's public high schools fared well on U.S. News and World Report's national and statewide rankings.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford’s public high schools were well-represented on the latest rankings by U.S. News & World Report.
In its report that was released on Tuesday, U.S. News & World Report ranked 25 Connecticut public high schools, including both Conard and Hall, among the nation’s top 1,000.
It also ranked the best public high schools in Connecticut and Conard was No. 6 overall and Hall was No. 13. Conard was ranked 309th best nationally, while Hall was No. 558, according to the report.
Conard High School has a 96 percent graduation rate, a student-teacher ratio of 14:1 and a college readiness score of 63.5. A college readiness score pertains to students' performance on standardized tests, and to view an in-depth report on how Conard students did click here.
Conard has 1,502 students at the school and 106 full-time teachers.
Hall High has a 98 percent graduation rate, a student-teacher ratio of 14:1 and a college readiness score of 53.7. To view an in-depth review on Hall’s test scores, click here.
