Vehicle Fire Cleared In West Hartford: UPDATE

The incident caused lanes of traffic to be closed.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — An early morning vehicle fire in West Hartford caused some inconveniences to motorists as crews worked to battle the flames, but it is now cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the fire, first reported at 3:04 a.m., happened on Interstate 84 westbound between exits 44 and 43.

As a result, the right lane was still closed as of 5:46 a.m., but it is now no longer on the DOT incident list.
