WEATHER UPDATE: Rain, Fog, and Thunderstorms Forecast for West Hartford Today
After Monday's rain, the weather improves for the rest of the week but it will feel chilly.

After a glorious weekend of weather, which brought bright sunshine both days and 70 degrees on Saturday, it’s back to reality today.
We’ll be dealing with heavy rain and fog for most of Monday and Monday night. Also wind gusts can reach up to 14 mph on Monday and thunderstorms are expected tonight.
We can receive up to half an inch of rain during the day today. Also, the temperatures will be hovering in the high 40s to low 50s — another big change from this past weekend.

Rain will continue Monday night and up to another half inch of rain is possible before it ends early Tuesday. The temps rebound on Tuesday as cloudy skies turn partly sunny in the afternoon and we could hit 70 degrees again.
More rain showers are possible Wednesday, followed by sunny skies Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Each day the temps are forecast to be in the low to mid-50s.

Tonight: Showers before 9pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 9pm and 1am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1am. Low around 50. East wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tuesday: A slight chance of showers, mainly between 10am and noon. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 67. West wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 43. Southwest wind 3 to 5 mph.
Wednesday: A chance of showers, mainly after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 59. Southwest wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Wednesday Night: A chance of showers, mainly before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 54.
