West Hartford Announces Labor Day Trash Impacts

Regular trash/recycling collection days will be delayed a day due to the holiday Sept. 5.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Town officials have announced some trash collection impacts caused by the Labor Day holiday.

West Hartford officials said, due to the Labor Day holiday Sept. 5, from that day through Sept. 10, the following collections will be one day late after the holiday: Trash, “A” week recycle, “A” week yard waste, bulk and metal collections.

Monday’s collections will be done on Tuesday; Tuesday’s collections will be done on Wednesday, with each remaining day of the week during this week being one day later.
