A celebration will take place Saturday, June 3, at the Noah Webster Library in West Hartford.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The local community is hosting the second annual Caribbean-American National Heritage Month Celebration Kick-Off event on Saturday, June 3.

The celebration will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Noah Webster Library, 20 S. Main St., in the lower level community room, 20 S. Main St.

11:30am - Welcome and Introduction by Diana Jepsen
11:40am - Town Proclamation by Mayor Shari Cantor
11:50am - State Proclamation and Brief Remarks by Representative James Sanchez
11:55am - Caribbean American Dance Company performance
12:10pm - Featured Speaker: Dr. Fiona Vernal
12:25pm - Steel Drums demonstration
12:40pm - Guest Speaker: Mr. Leslie Perry
12:55pm - The Salsa Dancers performance
1:15pm - Thanks and Closing Remarks
