West Hartford: Deadline Looms For COVID Cash Program

Businesses and nonprofits have until Wednesday, Aug. 10, to apply to the town for $1o,000 grants to help offset pandemic impacts.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Town officials this week are reminding business owners and nonprofits that the deadline for possibly getting up to $10,000 back for pandemic losses is fast approaching.

The Town of West Hartford is currently accepting applications to the Small Business and Non-Profit Recovery Grant Program.

This opportunity will provide one-time direct financial assistance up to $10,000 to eligible West Hartford businesses and non-profit organizations with: 50 or fewer full-time employees; has operations in West Hartford since January 2020; and can show adverse impacts by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The application acceptance period began July 20 and runs through Wednesday, Aug. 10 at 4:30 p.m.

If the Town has not awarded the entire allocated amount of $2 million by Aug. 10, the application period will be extended until all of the monies are awarded.
