If coming from New Park Road, turn down Oakwood Avenue. The side entrance for DPW is actually just past Brixton Street on Oakwood Avenue. There will be signs directing folks where to go.

In addition, the town will be taking a collection of non-perishable food items at this event to stock the shelves of the local food pantry.

Paper collected by Infoshred is safely shredded on site, then shredded again before being baled at Infoshred’s secure facility.

All paper shredded and processed by Infoshred is recycled and turned into new material like tissue paper, paper towels and dental bibs, wrote the town.

The limit for documents is two copy paper boxes or its equivalent. No plastic bags are being accepted.

Participants are asked to bring sensitive documents only. They can separate junk mail, other non-sensitive paper and envelopes and recycle them in curbside blue barrels.

"This is a very popular event and we want to accommodate all residents," wrote the town in an announcement.

"Thank you for participating and ensuring that your sensitive documents not only get safely shredded, but also get recycled."
