West Hartford: July 4 To Impact Services, Trash Collection
Town hall and other municipal facilities will be closed Monday, while trash services will be delayed a day next week.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Town officials this week have announced various Fourth of July holiday impacts on municipal services next week.
According to the Town of West Hartford, municipal facilities, including town hall, libraries, schools, community centers, senior centers and camp programs are closed on Monday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
The holiday is also expected to impact trash collection services next week as well.

There will be a one-day delay in the collection of trash, “B” week recycling, yard waste, metal and bulky collections during the week of July 4 to July 9.
Monday’s collections will be picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday’s on Wednesday and each remaining day of the week being one day later than normal.
