West Hartford Police Arrest 5 Juveniles, 2 Adults on Theft and Drug Related Charges: Report

Investigation led to the arrest of five juveniles and two adults, with one man accused of selling drugs to a 13-year old.

WEST HARTFORD, CT – An investigation by police Thursday led to the arrest of five juveniles and two adult men after officers located stolen items and drugs at a Britain Avenue residence.

Police said in a release they were contacted Thursday regarding a series of vehicle burglaries in the Elmwood section of town. Approximately 20 vehicles has reportedly been entered, with electronics and other valuables having been stolen from the cars.

Officers later observed a Britain Avenue home while detectives were obtaining a search and seizure warrant and witnessed a drug transaction. The suspected drug dealer, Quinton Prince, was stopped as he left the location and found with illegal narcotics.

Police recovered stolen items and drugs from the home while executing the warrant. The investigation led to the arrest of five juveniles and one adult.

Alejandro Rodriguez, 18, of Newington was charged with 20 counts of burglary and 6 counts of larceny, as well as risk of injury to a child and possession of marijuana. He is being held on $10,000 bond.

Quinton Prince, 21, of Hartford was charged with possession of narcotics, marijuana and a hallucinogen,as well as charges for weapons in a motor vehicle, illegal tints and an unreadable license plate. He is accused of selling drugs to a 13-year old, and held on $10,000 bond.
