West Hartford Police Charge Man with Multiple Burglaries
The man was recently served with nine arrest warrants for several burglaries that took place last summer.
West Hartford Police arrested a Springfield, Massachusetts man on nine arrest warrants for several burglaries that occurred in the east end of town last summer.
Joseph Joiner, 56, was served with the warrants while he was in the custody of the Hartford Correctional Center on Jan. 29.
Police said that the arrest stems from burglaries that occurred in the east end of town near Fern Street to Farmington Ave area. All of the burglaries occurred this past summer and evidence left at the scene led directly to Joiner, according to police.

Joiner was charged with four counts each of criminal attempt to commit first-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief, three counts of first-degree burglary, and one count each of fifth-degree larceny and third-degree burglary.
He was held on bonds totaling $685,000.
