Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately.

WEST HARTFORD, CT– On Friday, the West Hartford Police Department responded to two homes in the Elmwood section of West Hartford to investigate overnight burglary complaints.

The streets involved were Barton Street and Brian Road. In each case the homeowner reported that their homes were entered and items inside were stolen while they were home sleeping. In each home flat screen TVs were taken in addition to cash and other electronics.

It is believed that each of the homes were left unlocked as neither showed signs of forced entry. While the occupants were home during the incidents there were no encounters with suspects. The crimes weren’t discovered until the morning.
