West Hartford Resident Hired For Community Relations Post

HARTFORD, CT — A West Hartford resident has been named Director of Community Relations for an organization which helps adults with developmental disabilities participate in community life independently and safely.

Sarah Winiarski has been hired by the Jewish Association for Community Living (JCL), and will be . responsible for growing JCL’s fundraising and development efforts as well as outreach in the community.

Winiarski received a Master’s in Strategic Fundraising and Philanthropy from Bay Path University. She comes to JCL with nearly nine years of experience in fundraising and development, and previously held the position of Director of Development & Communications at a similar organization.

A married mother of three children, Winiarski's experience and expertise is expected increase JCL’s exposure throughout the community.

“I am excited to be part of the JCL family," she said. "My hope is that my knowledge and experience will be beneficial to the organization to help the people we serve.”
