West Hartford Restaurant Owner Eliminated On ‘Top Chef’ TV Show

The chef, who also owns a restaurant in Simsbury, competed on the cooking show "Top Chef" on Bravo.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Connecticut’s Tyler Anderson, who co-owns The Cook and the Bear In West Hartford and is the chef-owner of Millwright’s in Simsbury, was eliminated from the Bravo cooking show “Top Chef” on Thursday, according to the Hartford Courant.

The Courant reports the dish that did Anderson in was an attempted Swedish/Southern Californian fusion cuisine when the chefs were challenged to create dishes that represented their heritage.

Anderson, who joked that he didn’t have heritage, had a chance to get back into the competition in the “Last Chance Kitchen” segment but was eliminated again.
