West Hartford Store Sells $50,000 Lottery Winner
A West Hartford store has sold a big CT Lottery winner.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — A West Hartford supermarket has sold a $50,000 CT Lottery winner in a scratch game that's winding down.
On Jan. 19, Maricris Matsikas, of West Hartford cashed in the big winner for the $100,000 Fortune game. The ticket was purchased at the Big Y supermarket in West Hartford.
The $100,000 fortune game started in September and 3,037,300 of the $5 tickets were printed. The top prize is $100,000 and the overall odds of winning some type of prize is 1 in 4.27. CT Lottery officials said.

The game is "winding down," according to the CT Lottery, but there is no end time posted.
