West Hartford's Newest Park Trail To be Unveiled
The Friends of West Hartford Parks is hosting a special opening event at the recently completed Trout Brook Trail on Saturday.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A local organization dedicated to aiding and preserving parks and trails in West Hartford is hosting a special event this Saturday at one of its newest parks — the Trout Brook Trail.
Guests are invited to learn the history of Trout Brook and stroll along this newly completed linear park that stretches from New Park Avenue to Duffield Street.

The program is at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, with a Sunday, Oct. 1 rain date.
Visitors will meet at the Norfeldt Field parking lot (490 Park Road, West Hartford) but the entrance is the enter parking lot on Boulevard.

Families are welcome at this community event, which is being hosted by the Friends of West Hartford Parks.
"Join us as we explore the loop starting at Norfeldt Field (corner of Trout Brook Road and Boulevard), continuing to the new stretch at Duffield Street and back," wrote event organizers in an announcement.
