The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. on June 20 in the 600 block of Campbell Avenue, according to police.

The Muzeum Sports Bar and Grill, located at 631 Campbell Avenue, posted a statement on its Facebook page on Tuesday “with profound sadness,” acknowledging the “tragic loss of our beloved friends and team members, Dravere and Miguel.”

“At this time, Muzuem Bar & Grille is fully cooperating with the West Haven Police Department and will continue to provide any information or assistance requested as part of their ongoing investigation,” the statement reads. “We would also like to clarify that the incident did not occur inside Muzuem Bar & Grille, nor was the establishment involved in the events that took place. The incident occurred outside of the venue.

“Dravere and Miguel were more than employee and friends, they were valued members of our Muzuem family. Their loss has deeply impacted our staff, friends, patrons, and the entire community. We are grieving alongside their families and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

“As a business, we are committed to supporting their families through fundraising efforts and by keeping them lifted in our thoughts and prayers. We encourage our community to come together to show love, support, and compassion for everyone affected by this tragedy.

“To allow our staff and extended Muzuem family the time and space needed to mourn, Muzuem Bar & Grille will be closed for the next few weeks. We appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support during this period.”
