July 4th Fireworks 2022 Near West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around West Haven so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4 near West Haven:

July 4 Festivities

What: Milford Start of Summer celebration. Event starts at 4 p.m. and two live bands will play until midnight.

Food trucks will be at the event and downtown restaurants will also be open.

Parking in the area will be very limited, but the city will have free shuttle service to and from the senior center, Wasson field and Harborside Middle School.

Shuttle service will start around 4 p.m. and end at 11:30 p.m.

Where: Lisman Landing, Milford

When: June 25 with a rain date of July 9. Fireworks show to begin around 9:15 p.m.

What: East Haven 20th Annual Beach Party & Fireworks

When: Sunday, June 26

Where: Town Beach on Cosey Avenue

Rain Date: June 27

What: Stratford's annual Independence Day Fireworks display

Where: Short Beach

When: June 30 at 9 p.m. with rain date of July 5.

What: New Haven Fourth Of July Fireworks

Where: Atop East Rock, best viewing from Wilbur Cross High School

When: Monday, July 4, at 9 p.m.

What: Fireworks & Concert at HPCC in Orange

Where: 525 Orange Center Rd

When: July 9

What: Savin Rock Fireworks Spectacular in West Haven

Where: Bradley Point

When: Sept. 3 with rain date of Sept. 5. Fireworks to begin around 8 p.m.
