Obituary: Stephen Nicholas Bonini, 68, of West Haven
Stephen worked for Marlin Firearms and Laydon Construction. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

WEST HAVEN, CT — (Contributed): Stephen Nicholas Bonini, 68, of West Haven, CT. Surrendered his spirit to the heavens on the dawn of October 10, 2020. Stephen was born on September 16, 1952 in New Haven, CT.
He was the son of the late Nicholas and Julia (Sokol) Bonini. Stephen was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marcia A. (Hart) Bonini.
The greatest joy is knowing they are now joined hand and hand in their eternal bodies to forever walk in God’s garden. He was the loving father to Christopher S. Bonini of West Haven, CT; Marie (Joshua) Urbano of East Haven, CT and Stephen H. Bonini of West Haven, CT.

Proud grandfather of Christopher Bonini of Stratford CT; Gavin, Alexander and Marissa Urbano all of East Haven, CT and Gia Bonini of Milford, CT. He is also survived by his sister Susan (Richard) Piche of Eustis, FL with whom Stephen spent his last few years with.
He has many nieces and nephews, near and far. Stephen has many devoted lifelong friends. In Stephen’s lifetime he worked at Marlin Firearms and at Laydon Construction. Stephen loved the outdoors; he was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He took pride in knowing that he passed down his skills to his sons, grandsons, nephews and to anyone else willing to learn. Stephen will be forever known for his quick wit, his infectious laugh and for his love of music and dancing.
All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in his honor or send donations to the American Heart Association.
