MBSR is an 8 week experiential program that has been scientifically proven to help reduce stress, promote physical health, and cultivate emotional well-being. The program includes foundational training in meditation, group discussion and practical teachings to apply mindfulness in daily life.
The MBSR program was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 at the Stress Reduction Clinic, University of Massachusetts Medical Center. In the past 30 years, this program has helped over 19,000 people to deal more effectively with stress, pain, illness, and the pressures and demands of everyday living.
