Couple Tried to Buy Cigarettes in Westport with Fake Credit Cards: Cops
The two were arrested with multiple fraudulent cards and cartons of stolen cigarettes, police said.

Westport, CT - A New York couple were arrested by Westport police last week after the pair allegedly tried to buy a large quantity of cigarettes with a fake credit card.
Arrested were Geraldy Beraud, 23, of Saint Albans, NY, and Aliyah Somerville, also 23, of Rosedale, NY. Police said the two tried to buy the cigarettes at about 7 p.m. on June 9 from the Exxon gas station at 1510 Post Road East.
During the transaction, the store clerk recognized the pair because they allegedly tried the same thing the week before at the same station.
