Deadline for Westport's Green Task Force 2015 WeGreenWestport Awards Nominations Is This Week
Do you know someone who's helped improve the environment around Westport?
The deadline to submit nominations for the Westport’s Green Task Force 2015 WeGreenWestport Awards is next week.
Green Task Force Chairperson David Mann said in a statement, “Westport continues to make great strides towards a sustainable future. Each year, the WeGreenWestport Awards Program recognizes the contribution of Westporters – individuals, businesses and non-profits - whose work has made a substantial difference in bettering our community through a commitment to protecting and improving the environment. I’m looking forward to seeing who the community nominates and learning more about the exciting ways Westporters are building a green future.”
Nominations from the public will be accepted through 4 p.m. Friday, April 17. Nomination forms may be obtained online here or from the Selectman’s office, Westport Town Hall Room 310, 110 Myrtle Ave.

Completed forms should be emailed to greentaskforce@westportct.gov or mailed to David Mann, Chair, Westport Green Task Force c/o Town of Westport, 110 Myrtle Ave., Westport, CT 06880.
The Green Task Force will vote on the applications at its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, April 21.
