Firefighters Extricate Driver in Two-Car Westport Crash

The extricated driver was treated for injuries by Westport EMS.

WESTPORT, CT - A two-car, "T bone" crash Wednesday morning on the Post Road East and Cedar Road in Westport required firefighters to extricate an injured driver.

The crash occurred just after 7 a.m. The extricated driver was treated for injuries at Westport EMS; the driver and passenger of the other vehicle were evaluated at the scene by EMS.

In addition to Westport police, fire personnel from Engine 5, Engine 2, Rescue 3 and the Shift Commander all responded.
