Halloween Window Painting Contest in Westport this Weekend
The Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce sponsors the annual event.
WESTPORT, CT — The annual Halloween Window Painting Contest in Westport is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 22, according to the Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce, which sponsors the event.
Local merchants offer their storefront windows for the event, which allows children to paint them with Halloween themes. Children in elementary, middle and high school are eligible to participate.
The paintings will be judged on "Scariest Art Work," "Best Halloween Theme," and "Most Original." A total of nine winners will be selected.
