Honda of Westport Donates to Local D.A.R.E. Program
D.A.R.E. stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education.
Westport, CT - For the second year in a row, Honda of Westport has made a donation to support the Westport Police D.A.R.E. program.
The acronym stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education, and it is part of a national program to help youngster make sound life choices and stay away from drugs.
The local effort is run by Westport Police Officer Ed Batlin, who accepted a $1,500 check from Perkins Automotive / Honda of Westport this week.
