Japanese Fall Festival Set for Westport

WESTPORT, CT — The Japan Society of Fairfield County is sponsoring a Japanese Fall Festival with Bon Odori on Saturday, Sept. 24, on Jesup Green in Westport, the group announced.

The free event is scheduled for 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will feature a drum performance by NY Taiko Aikokai; Okinawan Folk Songs with Sanshin by Junko Fisher; and a Karate Demonstration by Connecticut Seido Karate.

Additionally, Japanese food and beverages will be available at Matsu Sushi next to the green. For more information, visit the society's website.
