Jr FLL LEGO Robotics Competition at Compuchild

Jr. FLL is a LEGO Robotics competition for children aged 6-9. The aim is to spark interest in STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math)

Jr.FLL is a LEGO Robotics competition. It is focused on building an interest in science and engineering in children ages 6-9. Guided by adult coaches and the Jr.FLL Core Values, teams get to design and build challenge solutions using LEGO elements, apply real-world math and science concepts, learn team building and presentation skills and develop a “Show me” poster. This years challenge topic is Think Tank (Redefining Learning)!

To prepare for the challenge, we will run workshops for 8 weeks:

Time: 2:30- 4:00 pm

Fees: $299 and Registration Fees: $20

During our workshops:

Students will build robots following the instruction and learn gearing mechanism

Study the Think Tank Topic

Learn core values

Come up with their own design of robot using gears and motor

The competition will be on 1st or 2nd week of February at Stamford, CT.
