Milford Contractor Arrested Again By Westport Police
This is his third arrest in as many months.

WESTPORT, CT — Milford remodeling contractor Jeffrey Chirillo, 36, was arrested by Westport police on a warrant Thursday in connection with a case where he allegedly took money for construction work he never did.
Thursday's arrest marks the third time Chirillo has been arrested by Westport police on similar charges.
The most recent case started on Feb. 16 when the victim filed a larceny complaint with the department.

"The victim needed work done to his home on North Avenue, and hired Jeffrey Chirillo of Chirillo Contracting," wrote police in a statement. "The victim reported that Chirillo agreed to do the work for $1895.00. The victim reported that he paid Chirillo $1365.00 on 10/02/16 as a deposit to do the work. Chirillo never did any work at his residence. The victim gave Chirillo ample time to repay the deposit but Chirillo did not."

Chirillo was additionally charged with being an unregistered home improvement contractor, and he was arrested at Norwalk Superior Court where he had appeared for a different case. He was released and is scheduled to appear again in court on April 25.
