Motorcyclist Killed In I-95 Crash: Police
The 35-year-old died after the crash Saturday in Westport, state police said.
WESTPORT, CT — A motorcyclist died after a weekend crash on Interstate 95 in Westport, according to police.
Frank James Brown, 35, of Waterbury, was taken to Norwalk Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. Saturday on northbound I-95, south of Exit 18, according to police. Brown’s motorcycle collided with the back of a 2007 Honda Odyssey and he lost control, striking a concrete barrier, at which point his vehicle slid on its side for about 50 feet, stopping in the median shoulder, police said.

The Honda van was occupied by five people aged 14-61, all from New York City, according to police. No enforcement action was immediately taken and the incident remained under investigation, police said.
