Open House May 30 for Westport Teen Center Toquet Hall

The event will kick off a fundraising campaign to upgrade the teen center.

WESTPORT, CT - Toquet Hall, Westport's teen center located at 58 Post Road East, will hold an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, May 30, following the town's Memorial Day activities on Veterans Green.

The open house is hosted by the Toquet Hall Enhancement Group of the Westport Downtown Plan Implementation Committee and Toquet Hall Teen Governing Boards.

Monday will mark the launch of a fundraising campaign to pay for improvements to the facility, and a GoFundMe page will debut on the 30th.

“We’re thrilled to be a part of the Downtown Plan Implementation Committee’s initiatives and excited to work with the community to make these enhancements a reality for our students," said Westport Youth Services Program Director Kevin Godburn in a statement.

Based on feedback from student groups, Toquet Hall visitors, and responses to outreach efforts of the Downtown Westport Master Plan, several areas of focus have been identified for enhancement.
