PD: Elderly Man Suspected of Stealing $13k Bracelet in Westport

The man allegedly asked to see several pieces of jewelry before leaving with the bracelet.

WESTPORT, CT- Police are seeking the public's help to identify a man suspected of stealing a bracelet valued at more than $13,500.

The elderly male pictured allegedly stole a gold and diamond bracelet on Feb. 27 after being shown other pieces of jewelry.

The suspect is described as a white male in his seventies. He has a full head of white hair. He was wearing navy blue pants, a red and blue flannel type shirt and a dark brown leather jacket with brown boots.

The suspect’s vehicle appears to be a silver or white sedan (possibly a Kia or Nissan).
