Stolen Vehicle Crashed By Suspects In Westport: Police
The vehicle was one of two stolen in town on Wednesday, according to authorities.
WESTPORT, CT — Suspects crashed a stolen vehicle into another car in Westport on Wednesday, one of two vehicles stolen in town on the same day, according to authorities.
No injuries were reported in the crash, which occurred at the intersection of Easton Road and North Avenue, and the suspects fled the scene in the vehicle before police arrived.
In a release, Westport Police Capt. Eric Woods said that both stolen vehicles had been unlocked with the keys inside.

"Westport Police again remind residents to stay vigilant in locking their cars and homes," Woods said.

Additionally, police also investigated an attempted vehicle theft, and another report of suspicious people running from an open garage and fleeing the area in a stolen vehicle.
"Those responsible for stealing these cars have no regard for your property or your safety," Woods said. "Please lock your homes and vehicles, utilize alarm and surveillance systems, and report any suspicious behavior to the Westport Police Department."
