On Sunday, August 4, St. Vincent's and Hartford HealthCare held it's annual Swim Across the Sound Memorial. This moving event, held at Captain's Cove Seaport in Bridgeport each year, is open to all and honors those we have lost to cancer. This year, St. Vincent's colleagues paid special tribute to one of their own, Vice President of Mission Services Bill Hoey, who lost his battle to cancer in February.
Those in attendance listened to beautiful music, readings and prayer and were invited to scatter sunflowers into Long Island Sound in memory of their loved ones
