WESTPORT, CT — A 27-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested on reckless endangerment and breach of peace charges Wednesday, after Westport police said the man pointed a gun at another vehicle on the Post Road East.
The incident occurred in the 900 block, when a witness flagged down a patrolling officer.
"The complainant reported that they were behind two vehicles traveling westbound on Post Road East when they observed the passenger of one vehicle allegedly pointing a gun outside the passenger side window in the direction of the other vehicle," wrote Lt. Eric Woods in a statement.

According to Woods, the witness was able to take photos of the vehicles, which helped police find the suspect not far away, near Turkey Hill Road South.
"The operator and passenger were identified, and the operator was deemed to not be involved in the incident and was released," Woods said. "The passenger, identified as Isaiah Marrero, was found to be in possession of a black semi-automatic handgun. Mr. Marrero validated the complaint made against him, but stated he and the operator of the other vehicle were co-workers and never intended to harm them."
