The Watermark at 3030 Park Hosts Monthly Parkinson's Support Group
Support group coincides with community's bi-weekly Parkinson's Fitness Class
The Watermark at 3030 Park today announced the return of their Parkinson’s Support Group, a monthly meeting for people living with or caring for someone with Parkinson’s disease.
The support group will meet on the last Thursday of each month from 2:00 -- 3:00 at the continuing care retirement community, located at 3030 Park Avenue on the Bridgeport-Fairfield town line. The meetings are free of charge and open to the public; this month’s support group will be held on May 26.
In addition to the monthly support group meetings, McGuire also holds a bi-weekly Parkinson’s Fitness Class designed to help people living with Parkinson’s engage their muscles and increase mobility.

The classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday at The Watermark at 12:45.
McGuire, a certified member of the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, has nearly three decades of experience in the fitness industry and has been with The Watermark since 2008. She holds a B.S. in Recreation and Leisure Education from SCSU and a Master’s in Biology with a concentration in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport.
