Westport Fire Department Offers Babysitter Safety Course In November

The course is intended for young people 12-18 years old who are interested in learning about safe babysitting.

WESTPORT, CT - From the Westport Fire Department: The Westport Fire Department is offering a Babysitter Safety Course which is open to residents of Westport. This class is intended for young men and women (12 to 18 y/o) who are interested in learning about safety topics related to babysitting.

Course topics will include: Babysitter Basics, Babysitter Responsibilities, Identifying Hazards, Fire Safety, Demonstration and Hands-On Practice using Fire Extinguishers, Child Safety, Babysitter Safety, Home Safety, Outdoor Safety, CPR (with certification), and Basic First Aid (with certification).

Time: 9:00am – 11:30am

Class 4 & 5: Westport Emergency Medical Services Classroom, 50 Jesup Rd, Westport, CT
Cost:

$25.00 (Cost of CPR/First Aid Book) Payable to Westport Volunteer EMS.

Class size is limited to the first 16 students registered.
