Westport School Budget Approved
The $112.6 million budget was crafted to keep increases as low as possible.
WESTPORT, CT- The Board of Finance unanimously approved the $112.6 million school operating budget Thursday night.
The budget comes with a 1.29 percent increase over the current year, according to Westport Now.
It is the second lowest school board increase in a budget in the past decade. The budget was created with a zero-based budget strategy to keep increases as close to zero as possible.
