Westport Traffic Alert: Road Work on the Merritt Parkway
One lane of the parkway is closed to traffic.
If your travels through Westport include driving on the Merritt Parkway on Wednesday, plan on needing some extra time.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is performing roadwork on the parkway along the 5.5 mile stretch of the southbound lanes between Exits 44 and 42.
The left lane will be closed until about 2:40 p.m., according to the DOT.
