• Connecticut police officers shot, suspect killed after attempted arrest sparks hectic chase (commstrader.com) — A late-night police chase that began in Hartford and passed through nearby towns including Wethersfield ended in Newington with two officers shot and the suspect killed. Both officers have been released from the hospital, while the state's Office of Inspector General now investigates whether the use of deadly force was justified and what exactly unfolded during the chaotic pursuit.
